Pearson Airport
Day 1 – Sunday, October 10
Departure from Terminal 3 out of Toronto 's Pearson International Airport to Tel Aviv aboard our El Al flight. You must be at the airport 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. We will meet in front of the EL AL ticket counter. Please do not continue to the gate area or go through security until you have checked in with Joe.

Day 2 – Monday, October 11
Arrive in Tel Aviv where we will be met by a tourism representative and be transferred to our hotel in Tel Aviv. If we have an early arrival, we will be given a brief tour of Jaffa while are hotels rooms are being prepared. The rest of the day will be devoted to a time of rest and relaxation. Enjoy a swim in the Mediterranean, or walk through the busy streets of Tel Aviv and let the shopping begin! After supper we will have an orientation meeting where we will be collecting the $90 USD per person for tips for the tour guide and bus driver. Please have exact change.

Caesarea Maritime
Day 3 – Tuesday, October 12
Our day begins at Caesarea, an ancient city built by King Herod. View the ruins of a 2000-year-old theatre and stand in the ruins of the same prison cell as the Apostle Paul. From there we continue north to Mount Carmel to visit the traditional site where the prophet Elijah had his showdown of fire with the prophets of Baal and view the Valley of Armageddon. Next we drive to Nazareth to visit “Nazareth Village”—a site that depicts life from the First Century.

The Jesus Boat
Day 4 – Wednesday, October 13
The day begins with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Then we will visit the museum that holds the historic “Jesus Boat”. We then will visit Capernaum, known as the city of Jesus. On to Caesarea Philippi (also known as the Gates of Hades). Drive south through the Golan Heights.

Day 5 – Thursday, October 14
We will stop at the Jordan River for a chance to be baptized. (There is a charge of $10 USD for robe and certificate.) As we head south towards Jerusalem we will drive through the Jordan Valley and pass by ancient Jericho.

Day 6 – Friday, October 15
We'll drive to Masada, the great fortress city built by King Herod. This is also the location where the final Jewish revolt against the Romans took place. After lunch we'll enjoy a relaxing time of floating in the Dead Sea.

Day 7 – Saturday, October 16

Day 8 – Sunday, October 17
Our day begins with a panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Here you have a chance to ride a camel on the Mount of Olives. (Approx. $5 USD per person). Walk down the path where Jesus rode the donkey into the Eastern Gate of the Temple. We'll visit the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest sight. Attend an optional service at the King of Kings Assembly. You will need approximately $5 USD per person for the taxi ride home. Late evening tour of the Western Wall Tunnels.

Day 9 – Monday, October 18
Early checkout and departure. Start with a walk on the temple Mount (subject to availability). Visit the pools of Bethesda mentioned in John 5. Proceed to the Garden Tomb (Christian site for the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus). A visit to Israel 's Holocaust Memorial Museum. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Please ensure that you are in possession of a Canadian Passport valid for at least 6 months. If you have a passport from another country, it is your responsibility to inquire at the Israeli Consulate if a Visa is required.

Payments:
International Heritage Tours requires a deposit of $300 per person refundable 90 days before departure (less a $100 administration fee) and full payment 60 days before departure.
